In the summer of 2015, the ARC Consistory voted to enter into the first module of the Ridder Church Renewal Process. ARC completed this module in September of 2017. In the spring of 2018, Ridder Church Renewal took on a new name—Ridder: Churches Learning Change (R:CLC)—and the ARC Consistory voted to enter into the second module of the process at that time. R:CLC is an intentional learning process, a journey of personal and congregational transformation with one end game: faithful and fruitful missional living demonstrated and personally and corporately. Together, ARC's pastors and a team of six ARC members are engaging in the process through personal reading and reflection, bimonthly meetings, and semiannual overnight retreats. R:CLC consists of two modules, each lasting 2 1/2 years. Here is a visual representation of the process:
