FLOURISH MOVES FORWARD

After 26 months of prayerful discernment—and with 82% approval from the congregation—the ARC Consistory unanimously approved moving forward with the Flourish Campaign’s $1.925 million building project. ARC’s leaders are grateful for God’s guidance throughout the process, and they are excited about the many ways this project will enhance ARC’s ministry and mission.

YOU CAN STILL GIVE TO THE FLOURISH CAMPAIGN

If you would like to contribute to the Flourish Campaign’s building project, you may mail your gift to the church office. Please include “Flourish Building Project” in the memo line of your check. If you’d like to make regular donations, print this intent form or contact the church office.

NEXT STEPS

ARC’s Consistory will finalize financing for the project, including both the construction loan as well as long-term financing. They will also seek approval from the leadership of East Sioux Classis, our regional governing body, which is required any time a Reformed Church in America congregation wishes to borrow resources exceeding 2/3 of the prior year’s expenses for congregational purposes.

The ARC Facilities Planning Team will also be working with our architect to finalize the plans so that bid packets can be prepared for potential contractors. Our hope is that construction will begin late summer or early fall of 2018.
